WinSCP includes PuTTY for when you need/want to type commands. Access hidden files Personally I prefer to use WinSCP from my Windows computer because you can browser hidden folders to find those hidden files, and if it's a log file you can right-click and select open to view it (or save it to your computer if you prefer).Video is throwing and error, but if people want to go SSH route, WinSCP is great.
This has been a super helpful app for me to transfer files without an SD card - creates a shared folder between your Steam Deck and PC.
Editing the files with regular Notepad may result in them not working properly with Linux software. Just make sure you use an editor which properly supports Linux formatting such as VSCode or Notepad++.
Need help sorting this If you aren't really comfortable with using the terminal, or Linux in general, you might be happier with using WinSCP to access the files and edit them on your local machine.
